The weather on Saturday was just perfect, but by Sunday the rain had started to fall.  We still set out on our Level 2 Coaching Tour, thinking ‘wow, we’re actually getting some winter conditions, this should be fun!’

Well the rain didn’t stop all day and our riders on our Tour did an amazing job getting through the challenging conditons of the day.

By the time we got back to the tour base, the wind had picked up and the trees were starting to fall on our property.  Some of the boys had trouble getting their cars out onto the main road as trees had fallen across the roads.  A big thanks to our Neighbour Smally who cleared the road with his tractor so everyone could get out.

It’s Tuesday and we’re still without power, no landline phone and the mobile and internet service is intermittent.  We are all awaiting the next front to come through this afternoon, so are battening down the hatches.
